UPENDO 2010 GENERAL REPORT

Upendo group we are the members of roots & shoots in iringa region at mtwango village and we are the community based group.
In the group we are 10 members in which 5 women and 5 men.
The group was started on 2008.
The group leadership:

secretary- Julius Mkolwe
treasure- Lucy Kabelege
Historian- Emanuel Kinyamagoha.
EXUCATIVE OF THE GROUP.
The power of performing duties and responsbilities in the group mainly were under group chairperson and all projects fundrised by the group members like - purchasing seeds for gadern - management of all group projects.
GROUP PROJECTS
-Trees gadern
-Hens keeping and
-Cultivating and conserve the gadern.
CHALLANGES.
-Lack of enough education about conserving environment.
-Lack of enough tools and funds for managing projects.
CONCLUSION
If we can get the donors who will assist us in funds for managing the project we will thanks them a lot we expect the donor from any corner of the world.

The first president of the group was OLAYCE RAPHAEL and his prime minister was CHUTAS IDDI and at the plan of may 2007 to oct 2008 was to strength the roots & shoots arround kigoma region and we have succeeded a lot and every individual had known that he/she has the great role to play in changing the destroyed environment animals and bring about the suistainable environment which may support animals and community life.
Also we have succeeded in maintaining the good relationship between the kigoma town clubs like (katubuka, kichangachui, mwenge, muungano) and kigoma rural areas clubs especially clubs supervised under TACARE.
Now naele have been considered as the program because it's aim is to provide education on environmental problems, HIV/AIDS, crimes that conducted in our societies through organizing works of art like acting movies, writing books, short stories and establish the exbition centre and please know that all of these projects need your help and there is no any donor who have donate for the program activities and to establish this program and running its activities will need abt 1000$ mill and it will consider the area arround Tanzania in all regions and may apply and conduct the profitable and non profitable projects and we are realy need your consideration to develop the community skills.

Hi people mambo vp? Roots & Shoots Iringa we are back again in the world youth environmental for changes.

            We have a lot of project for 2011 and we are now trying to consider the community based clubs for providing opportunities to every individual to concern on environment, animals and their communities.

            We have Upendo Group which is consisted with ten members for supervising their garden activities and now they seek fund which can help them in running their activities and they need about 20,000,000/= for the project management and sustainability and the fund which may help them in maintaining for their activities if you are interested in donating in this project please you may contact.

My strugglle with Roots & Shoots

            Naitwa Olayce K Raphael nilizaliwa katika wilaya ya Arumeru katka Mkoa wa Arusha. Nilianza masomo yangu ya shule ya msingi katika shule ya olturoto primary school na kumaliza katika shule ya olkokola primary school na masomo yangu ya sekondari katika shule ya sekondari katubuka sekondari school ambapo mwalimu wangu wa mazingira mwl Asangwile Ambokile alinielekeza juu ya Roots & Shoots na ndipo nilianza juhudi za kuiomba uanachama ofisi husika na tulipewa uanachama na tulianza kutekeleza miradi katika klabu nikiwa mwenyekiti wa kamati ya wanyama na mwenyekiti wa klabu alikuwa ni Dikson Mtete mwaka 2006/2007 na mwaka 2007/2008 nilichaguliwa kuwa mweyekiti wa klabu ya katubuka sekondari abapo nilijitolea kuendesha shughuli za Roots & Shoot katika klabu yangu na nje ya klabu yangu ambapo nilianzisha kikundi cha pamoja cha Roots & Shoots wilaya ya Kigoma mjini kwa jana la NAELE group likimaanisha N-natural, A-ambassadors, of E-environment, L- life and E-education na nilikiongoza kama raisi wa kikundi hicho na pia klabu ya ngu ya Roots & Shoots ilikuwa bora kwa mwaka 2008 kwa kuweza kutekeleza miradi yake mingi na kuweza kueneza elimu ya Roots & Shoots katika wilaya ya kigoma mjini na pia niliweza kutunukiwa tuzo ya mwanachama bora katika mkoa wa kigoma kwa mwaka 2008/2009.

            Pia nilipata mafunzo ya pearson foundation ya namna  ya kutengeneza filamu ndani ya mwaka 2007/2008 na kuopatiwa vyeti vya kuhitimu mafunzo hayo.

            Niliendelea na shughuli za kujitolea na Roots & Shoots katika mkoa wa kigoma pasipo makubaliano ya malipo yoyote na nilifanya kazi zote bila kulipwa na ofisi ya Roots and shoots na niliendelea pia katika mkoa wa Iringa kujitolea kufanya shughuli za Roots & Shoots bila malipo yoyote kutokana kwamba Roots & Shoots ilikuwa haina pesa za kuendeshea shughuli katika mikoa hiyo niliyokuwa nikifanya kazi na hapo nimejifunza namna ya kufanya kazi za Roots & Shoots katika maeneo tofauti na moyo huu wa kujitolea ni katika hali yangu ya kupenda kujifunza mambo mengi zaidi ya yale niliyojifunza na kupenda mazingira, wanyama na jamii na kutaka kujifunza mengi kuhusu Roots & Shoots. Na ninapenda nizidi kujifunza zaidi ya hapa nilipofikia nawashauri wanachama wenzangu wapende kujifunza zaidi ya kupenda maslahi kutoka katka Roots & Shoots ili tuweze kufanikiwa na kufanikisha malengo ya Jane Goodall`s Roots & Shoots duniani.

The jane goodall`s roots & shoots katika mkoa wa iringa ilianza mwaka 2009 katika shule ya sekondari kidugala seminari na mwenyekiti wa kwanza kuchaguliwa katika klabu ya kidugala ni Olayce K Raphael na katibu wake ni Eleisia Wililo na pia katika kipindi hicho cha uimarishaji wa Roots & Shoots katika mkoa wa Iringa mwenyekiti alijitahidi kuishawishi shule ili iweze kutoa kipaumbele katika klabu ya Roots & Shoots na baada ya miezi minne kupita mwenyekiti aliitambulisha rasmi klabu ya roots and shoots kwa wanaseminari wote na uongozi wa seminari kwa ujumla na klabu iliazimia kutekeleza miradi ifuatayo-;

1 kupanda maua kuzunguka maeneo yote ya shule

2 kulinda na kutoa elimu juu ya mazingira kwa ujumla.

3 kufanya budding katika miti ya miparachichi.

4 kutoa elimu ya roots & shoots kwa wanachama.

5 kutengeneza filamu inayohusu maovu ya jamii.

6 kutengeneza gazeti la klabu.

            Ambapo klabu ya kidugala iliweza kutekeleza miradi yake yote iliyopangwa kutekelezwa katika mwaka 2009/2010.

            Baada ya kupata uhamisho wa mwenyekiti wa klabu ya kidugala na kuweza kuhamia shule ya Mtwango sekondari Olayce K Raphael aliweza kutoa ripoti ya roots & shoots kwa uongozi wa shule ya sekondari mtwango na hapo alipewa nafasi na mkuu wa shule ya mtwango kuanzisha klabu ya roots & shoots shuleni hapo na mwalimu mlezi aliteuliwa na mkuu wa shule ambao walikuwa na mwalimu atupelye kikiva na mwalimu Joktan Mhomisoli na uongozi uliimarishwa na mwenyekiti alichaguliwa Olayce K Raphael na katibu Catherine Benedicto ambapo miradi iliyotekelezwa katika kipindi cha mwaka 2010/2011 ni pamoja na-;

1 kupanda maua kuzunguka maeneo ya shule

2 kutoa elimu ya Roots & Shoots kwa wanachama wa klabu

3 kutengeneza kazi za sanaa ambazo zitaeleza matatizo mbalimbali yaliyopo katika jamii.

4 kutoa elimu ya mazingira kwa wanafunzi wote.

5 kueneza Roots & Shoots katika mazingira yanayoizunguka shule ambapo wananchi wameanzisha kikundi cha upendo group.

6 kupanda miti kuzunguka maeneo ya shule.

            Katika kipindi chote cha utekelezaji wa shughuli za klabu na mkoa kwa ujumla nilikuwa nasimama kama mwakilishi wa Roots & Shoots mkoa wa Iringa nikifanya kazi chini ya makao makuu Taifa Roots & Shoots-Tanzania nikiwa na mawasiliano ya karibu na Erasto Njavike ambaye amekuwa akinipa moyo wa kupanua wigo wa Roots & Shoots na kunisaidia katika vitendea kazi vya kutolea elimu ya Roots & Shoots kwa wanachama.

            Vilabu vingi vilizidi kuongezeka ambapo shule kama vile Mtwango primary school, J J Mungai sekondari Mafinga school zilituma maombi ya uanachama na nilizikubalia uanachama ambapo walitekeleza miradi yao na nilifanikiwa kufika na kutoa elimu ya Roots & Shoots ingawaje tatizo lililokuwa kubwa ni katika uchumi kwani pesa za kuweza kuendeshea shughuli za Roots & Shoots katika mkoa wa Iringa hakuna hivyo ni mpaka nipate pesa kidogo ndipo niendeshee shunguli za chama kimkoa.

            Nawakaribisheni wote mtakaopenda kujifunza kuhusu roots & shoots katika shule ya mtwango sekondari na wageni mbalimbali kutoka ndani na nje ya nchi ya Tanzania.
